Lengthwise Garter Stitch Scarf
A winning combination of kid mohair and hand dyed sock yarn make up this scarf knit lengthwise in garter stitch. Once you get beyond the mega cast on, you are ready to roll on this wispy and gorgeous 3 season scarf. The mohair sets the multi colored fingering weight yarn off in such a way that is almost impossible to describe. Kit includes scarf pattern, one skein of Claudia Hand Painted fingering yarn and one skein of coordinating Rowan Kidsilk Haze or Debbie Bliss Angel kid mohair. Size 8, 24″ needle required. Kit includes 3 skeins of Silk Cloud and 4 skeins of Alpaca DK. Mix Pattern #4 is included and a size 7 or 8 needle is required. An advanced beginner can take on this project.
